ITV: top of the class

HART’s giant new training tower, The Tor, is set to make an appearance on ITV Meridian News this week after featuring on London Tonight on Friday 19 April. So keep a look out!

Standing proud at almost 70 feet, the tower is the only Working at Height training facility in the South of England, designed to simulate realistic evacuations from wind turbines, tower cranes and telecoms.

The ITV crew spent the whole day at our Sheerness site filming the tower in action and delegates carrying out accredited high level rescue training. The reporter even had his turn at abseiling down it! Here is a sneak peek at how he got on: Watch the video ▶

We hope the building of The Tor will showcase our desire to deliver the best in quality Working at Height training, delivering mentally and physically challenging courses for professionals in the industry.

The recent expansion of the Renewables sector is brilliant news for Kent and the South East because more jobs will be created and will drive exciting growth in the local economy.
