Safety Harness Training Courses

As part of the Checkmate Group, HART is perfectly placed to offer the best, most comprehensive safety harness training courses in the UK and mainland Europe.

When working at heights, correct use of safety harnesses is paramount to your safety. The aim of our harness training courses is to ensure that personnel are aware of both the legal, and best practice requirements of working at heights and using relevant fall protection equipment. On completion of the course, you will also be aware of your responsibilities - both as an individual, and as a group.

Objectives:

• • Understand the effects of gravity and its consequences
• • Understand the legislation and guidelines of working at heights
• • Understand the need for a rescue plan
• • Correctly don a safety harness
• • Correctly identify safe anchorage points
• • Perform a pre-use inspection of harness and lanyards
• • Demonstrate a sound understanding of the three types of fall protection systems

On completion of the course, participants will be given a PDF of the course notes and a certificate proving they have completed the course.
