Training Aimed at: Everyone who works at height
Course Duration: 1 day (6.5 hours)
Instructor to Trainee ratio: 1 : 10 (max)
Course Entry Criteria: NONE

COURSE AIMS:

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Delegates will have a thorough and complete understanding of what is required to work safely at height. Furthermore, delegates will also have a greater understanding of what is required to work safely at height on scaffold towers and access systems, and will therefore achieve better practical standards of health and safety in the work place.

On completion of this course, personnel should be able to:

HANDOUTS

On completion of the Scaffold Safety Training Course, trainees will be given course notes in PDF form, including HSE & industry guidance notes and ACOPs.

ASSESSMENTS

An assessment will be given at the end of the course by the height safety trainer. Written assessment pass rate is 70% or above.

CERTIFICATION

On completion of the course all trainees will be issued with a certificate which shows they are competent working on access systems.

 

THE COURSE UTILISES A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION, INTERSPERSED WITH VIDEOS, GRAPHICS, IMAGES AND CLIP ART – ACTUAL PRODUCTS ARE USED TO ILLUSTRATE POINTS.
