Rooftop Safety - Theory only

The Rooftop Safety course has been designed for workers, managers, safety supervisors, project organisers and anyone else involved with working, accessing and controlling people to work safely at height on rooftops within their company and is required to have appropriate competence and certification.

COURSE AIMS:

THIS COURSE DOES NOT COVER THE SPECIALISED SKILLS REQUIRED TO CARRY OUT SPECIFIC TASKS – THIS MUST BE DEALT WITH BY ADDITIONAL TRAINING (PRACTICAL).

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Delegates will have a thorough and complete understanding of what is required to work safely at height on completion of this course. They will also have a greater understanding of what is required to work safely at height and will be able to achieve better standards of health and safety in the work place.

On completion of this course, personnel should be able to:

HANDOUTS

On completion of the ISOH Working At Height Course, trainees will be given course notes in PDF form, including HSE & industry guidance notes and ACOPs.

ASSESSMENTS

An assessment will be given at the end of the course by the height safety trainer. Pass rate is 70% or above.

CERTIFICATION

On completion of the course all trainees will be issued with a certificate which shows they are competent working at heights.

 

THE COURSE UTILISES A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION, INTERSPERSED WITH VIDEOS, GRAPHICS, IMAGES AND CLIP ART – ACTUAL PRODUCTS ARE USED TO ILLUSTRATE POINTS.
